When you take your car to the body shop, it’s usually not to much fun 🙂

But our trip back from getting a shiny new hull refinishing on Freedom,  was a great time of roasting each other, stress reduction and sightseeing.

Captain Greg, Pete, Les and I (Art/Oldwaverider),  set out on the 24 mile journey back to Freedom’s home marina, which took 4 hours of which no one cared about any passage of time.

The Indian River is so full of dolphin, birds and cool breezes this time of year, and best of all, we had no sounds of boat engines around us.

If you have never been out on the Freedom, a twenty four foot Cape Cod Catboat, or on any sailing adventure on the river, you’ve got to put this one on your to-do list.
